The place is very straightforward, but the breakfast, while decent overall, missed a few basics like yogurt and the little packets of mustard and mayo; the sweet side could have offered more than a single miniature cake, which feels low for a three‑star property.

The location is a solid base for exploring nearby attractions, though the crowds are smaller. The restaurants next to the hotel are convenient, and the staff are very polite and helpful. The balcony is always a plus, and the kettle and fridge in the room are handy. Parking is only free between 17-7; outside those hours you can only stay for 3 hours for free. The mattresses are soft, which is fine for me but a bit too soft for my husband, and the carpets in the rooms need a refresh.

Only the location was decent; everything else was terrible—the carpet was filthy beyond belief, the balcony furniture was cheap, the balcony itself was broken and littered with cigarette butts, even showing burn marks despite a smoking ban, and the breakfast resembled a large canteen, awful, with coffee that was undrinkable.

The room was spacious and spotless, with a clean bathroom that was serviced daily, and the location was perfect right by the station and close to the historic part of town. The staff were pleasant.

The room felt old-fashioned, yet it was spotless and the staff were excellent. The breakfast was very disappointing and lacked options for people with food allergies.
