The place itself is gorgeous—stylish rooms, both private and shared areas feel really comfortable and a bit luxurious. The owner and manager were on hand for everything, from checking us in to pointing us toward good local spots, and the staff were friendly throughout. Parking on the property helped a lot, even though the lot is a little cramped; I actually saw the manager step in to help another guest squeeze their car in.

This boutique inn is a real charmer, set in a big old house that’s been lovingly restored and decked out with beautiful décor. It’s right within walking distance of downtown St. John’s and close to plenty of cafés and restaurants, and checking in was a breeze. Each suite comes with its own bathroom, a super comfy bed, and thoughtful touches that made the stay feel luxurious, plus the staff delivered a cute breakfast box to our door every morning.

We got to the inn at 3 am and were welcomed without any hassle, finding a clean, comfortable space that felt surprisingly relaxing. The staff went the extra mile, making sure everything was spot‑on, and the rooms were beautiful. The only downside was that the walk up from downtown is a short uphill climb, but it was only a few minutes and actually helped us burn off the dinner we’d enjoyed.

The old house has been beautifully updated, keeping its charming details while adding modern comforts; it’s quiet and feels very comfortable. Everything from the décor to the furnishings feels thoughtfully arranged, making it a pleasant place to unwind.

The location can’t be beat—right in the heart of St. John’s and with on‑site parking, so everything is just a short walk away. The only odd thing was that we never actually saw any staff around while we were there, which felt a bit impersonal.
