“薦めません。”

There was nothing positive. The information given beforehand was far from accurate, the photos mislead, the facilities are rough, the price is too high, and this is the most regrettable stay I've had. I will never go again, and I think it's better not to recommend it. I didn't feel like taking any photos. To eat at the restaurant I had to drive there, so without a car I had no meals. Especially for women, the place is dark, dirty, and staying there might even be impossible.

“Cheep, cheerful and friendly.”

The onsen was great, the owner was very friendly, she lent us a phone cable and also gave us extra bowls and other things. It's a cheap and cheerful place that we used as a base for hiking in Kirishima National Park. The atmosphere is relaxed, and though it looks a little run down, I found that comfortable. I would definitely return and stay a few days. The walls are very thin—you can hear exactly what’s happening next door. Some people may not like that it’s a little old and rundown.

“그럭저럭, 온천이 좋았던 숙소”

The owner was friendly and the hot spring water is very good. It’s in nature and quiet, so it’s nice when you want to be peaceful; visiting in summer, spring, or autumn would be even better. The downside is that it’s hard to find; when going up or down the narrow path you can run into cars coming from the opposite direction, which is awkward. The outdoor hot spring is closed, which is a pity. In winter, the rooms get very cold.

“空港近くの山奥♨️”

There was no SoftBank signal, but Wi‑Fi was available. The hot spring was good, and the airport is close. Unfortunately the outdoor bath is under renovation.
