Its spot right near High Street made getting around the Island a breeze thanks to the good bus service, but the room felt oddly empty at first. Breakfast was served at a sister hotel just a short walk down the road, and there was no one at reception while the lounge bar was mostly empty, leaving the atmosphere feeling lackluster.

The shower was clean, yet the hotel was unbearably hot with no fan, felt like a ghost ship with no staff, and the musty smell made it unpleasant.

Parking at the rear was super convenient and the location right in front of the beach was great, but the place seemed deserted with an empty reception area, and I had to get keys from another hotel which was confusing. The old carpet everywhere had an odor that made breathing difficult, and the rooms were very basic; cleaning staff never cleaned the room even though we left a sign on the door.

It was quiet, but the staff I met were quite rude and not what I expected. The TV had poor quality and couldn't use any apps on the remote, even though Netflix, Disney, and Prime were listed. The hotel smelled old and musty, the room was the same as always, pillows were thin with no alternatives. I asked for a sea‑view room and was denied unless I paid for another one, so I told my daughter to pack up and look for a different hotel. No staff member was in the hotel I stayed in, and there were no facilities.
