Siesta Sydney

The location was excellent, making it easy to get anywhere. The rooms were clean and the service was great; a special thanks to the hotel staff! I left my key at home in the morning, and the front desk was already closed when I returned at night. My phone suddenly couldn’t make international calls, so I waited at the entrance for a couple of people and asked them to contact the night manager; a few minutes later he came and opened my room. Thanks a lot for everyone’s help! One night I was kept awake for a long time by a noisy neighbor, but after a gentle reminder they kept it down.

“What I required at the time”

Each floor had communal zones—kitchen, dining, living, and tables for meals. A cup of tea and a comfy spot were waiting when I arrived, and there were luggage lockers on arrival. The spot was incredibly convenient. The House Manager was welcoming and delightful, and the stay was remarkably quiet. The communal kitchen could use more teaspoons.

“A clean, safe spot, located centrally”

The location, convenience, kitchen, laundry and lounge areas were good (there’s an iron and ironing board). The bathroom was a little shabby.

Friendly staff at check in. Location is good. Room size generous. There is a decent common space with a kitchen. Shower that I used had a basically broken shower head. Not the properties fault but it's quite noisy at night ( traffic outside). The room had a musty smell

“A Siesta, on est comme à la maison”

The staff were friendly and the place feels cozy, like home. Free use of the washer and dryer is a nice touch. The location is convenient – a 20‑minute walk to the Opera, with cafés and restaurants nearby.
