I loved the house and the owner, who was engaging and shared the history of her grandmother's house; breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed good conversation with the other guests, while the grounds were lovely and the house’s atmosphere warm and engaging. However, a few small things could have improved the stay: there was no hand soap in the bathroom, we found a few men’s shirts hanging in the closet which was odd, and we couldn’t get the TV to work. These issues won’t stop me from staying again, and I plan to book next year.

Such a warm setting to greet the day with a special breakfast and conversation with other guests; the food was locally sourced and we learned much about the special contribution of Ma Margaret’s family in the area.

Everything there was great, from the staff to the house, and the chef was absolutely amazing and very kind.
