Our guide had recommended this place, and it lived up to that recommendation. He stopped by to discuss everything with us, picked us up in the morning for the Danube Delta tour, and drove us back afterward. Every few hours the water pipe made a loud, penetrating noise – even at night – forcing us to get up and release pressure to silence it. The bed came with a thin, unlined blanket that I didn’t want to use, so I was glad to have my own plaid for the Danube tour. Cleanliness was only average. Anyone looking for the pool mentioned in the description will be disappointed – it doesn’t exist. The food, praised in other reviews, was good, but I expected more based on those reviews. Finally, a friend asked for a spontaneous inland meeting, so we stayed only one night instead of the two booked. Leaving was easy, just a pity about the money.
