“Dschungel-Lodge für Selbstversorger mit besonderem Flair”
Although only a few kilometres from the main Tulum‑Cancun road, the site is surrounded by forest (jungle), which is appealing but also makes the drive over rough paths somewhat troublesome. The resort itself is very well designed. Guests are self‑sufficient but can use a well‑equipped service area in a separate building. There are several nicely arranged seating areas by the pool. The roof of this two‑storey building is accessible and provides a breathtaking view of the night sky. Nearby, several cenotes were not heavily visited. In our room, the sink tap initially had no flow and still didn’t work well after repair. Service staff are not always on site, so problems may need to be reported by phone. We found the visit by coatís (raccoons) in the service area somewhat charming, but closing the fly‑screen doors isn’t enough – they’re too light and open easily.
