The room was comfy, staff were friendly, and the location was great with easy town access, yet maid service only came if I asked and there’s no elevator.

We were in Gunnison to drop our grandson off at Western Colorado University in late August, stayed one night right by the school, the front‑desk lady was friendly and helpful and shared local tips, we slept in a room with two Queen beds, a mini‑fridge, microwave, tea and coffee maker, it was clean and quiet, breakfast was good, the hot tub was broken but that didn’t matter for a single night.

The breakfast was good, the location was fine for what we had to do, but the room was small (not easy when you have a lot of luggage) and the price was high for what was offered.
