“Relaxing and gorgeous”
We were bumped up from a 3‑bedroom garden view to a 3‑bedroom beach view, which made staying close to the sand a real treat, especially if you’re willing to pay the extra. The resort spreads out, so the beach is a 10‑12 minute walk from the lobby, or you can request a golf cart. The private pool was a highlight, and we called room service a few times for dinner right by the pool; the menu was solid and you can order through their app. The main pool also offered food and drink from one of the restaurants. The Mango Bingxu was a daily favorite, and the breakfast buffet was big and varied. Early mornings and afternoons on the beach were less crowded. The beds were incredibly comfy and the villa was roomy. When a sliding door needed fixing, the staff arrived quickly. The staff were very helpful. The Korean BBQ was a bit underwhelming—the pork and beef were tough. A sign in the villa asked us not to hang wet suits and towels outside, but inside the bathrooms had almost no hanging space, especially for bath towels; a retractable drying cord over the tub, plus more hooks and bars, would help. The beach chairs filled up fast in the morning, so adding more would be useful.
