The setting was quiet. The breakfast was good and fairly generous. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The bathroom window opened directly onto the terrace of the next room, which made privacy a bit unpleasant.

It was a nice place, but the host’s friendliness had a lot of room for improvement. We also didn’t like at all that the apple trees a few meters away were sprayed with pest control chemicals early one morning around 7 am without any prior notice, and the spray drifted into our rooms through open windows. A brief heads‑up the night before would have let us prepare. Otherwise the rooms and breakfast were fine.
