It is situated 20 metres from Barra Grande village's shops and eateries, 40 km from Parnaíba city.

Very disappointing. There is nothing “chic” or “boutique” about this hotel. It may have been nice 20–30 years ago, but it is now run‑down and desperately needs renovation. The photos are very misleading, especially considering the high price. Cleanliness was poor: our room was not cleaned despite requesting it, and my brother’s room only had the bed roughly made, with no bathroom cleaning or fresh towels. We even found what appeared to be mouse droppings. The bed and wooden floors were deteriorated, and the bathroom fixtures were rusty and covered in limescale. Communication was terrible: messages were often ignored, and when I asked for confirmation about specific requests, I would get irrelevant replies like “Hello, how are you?” instead of an actual answer. There is also a neglected pond on the property that attracts huge numbers of mosquitoes and wasps, and I was stung during my stay. Some staff were kind, while others were unwelcoming. For this price, we expected a luxury boutique hotel. Instead, we couldn’t wait to leave. Definitely not worth the money.

I found the hotel very nice and well organized, but the booking process was a bit frustrating.

The staff were attentive and caring, making us feel right at home, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable; the pool area was lovely and quiet. The only suggestion would be to add a door in the bathrooms to block out the outdoor shower and keep mosquitoes out; otherwise, the location is slightly out of the way but not unpleasantly distant from the city center’s noise.
