“Palacio Ludovice did not meet my expectations”

I booked this place hoping to try the wine experience, but when I arrived I was told the restaurant and bar were closed that night, so I couldn’t enjoy any food or wine. The staff apologized, yet I never got a chance to try another food and wine option at the hotel, which I would have liked. The shower leaked, flooding the bathroom floor and almost causing me to slip; I asked the front desk to clean it up, but after leaving for dinner and returning an hour later the water was still everywhere.

“Wonderful location and service”

The location is excellent and the service is marvelous, and the building itself is beautiful. It’s close to many hostels, so it can get a bit noisy, especially late at night.

“Custo benefício fraco.”

The room was fine, but the real highlight was the hotel’s restaurant – it was outstanding with flawless service. However, the hotel doesn’t really justify a 5‑star rating, it feels more like a 4‑star place when you look honestly. The towels were subpar. I got back to the room at 14:30 after leaving in the morning and it hadn’t been cleaned; I had to call reception twice before it got done. They refer to a wall with a saint as a chapel, but it’s really just an oratory.

From the moment we walked in, the service was fantastic—staff went the extra mile, and the little upgrades and treats were truly appreciated, plus the room was beautiful. Nothing else to mention.
