“Excellent Budget Accommodation”

Owner Tonia was very pleasant and helpful; she let me leave my luggage early and it was safely stored. The hotel sits close to the station and town centre, and I found it easily via Google Maps – about a 5 to 7 minute walk from the station. The room came with mini toiletries, towels, a fridge and a TV. The €5 breakfast was a highlight: fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, croissants, eggs and cereal – everything you’d need to start the day. “A lovely stay in a great location, with friendly staff, easy check-in, and excellent cleanliness.”

I really enjoyed my stay at The Basement in Sorrento. Check‑in was hassle‑free, the place was clean and comfy, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The location was also great, making it easy to explore Sorrento. I’d definitely stay again! The only thing I didn’t love was that, being a basement, it felt a bit humid with a slight musty smell, but I understand that’s expected in a basement with limited ventilation.

The spot is great, close to a laundromat and the room is roomy, but the shower pressure left something to wish for.

“Maravilloso. Funcional y muy buena atención.”

Maravilloso todo. Sin palabras. Puede ser un poco húmedo a veces en verano? Eso dicen. Todo perfecto. Muy bien ubicado. Es lo que precisábamos para pasar una noche a la entrada de Costa Amalfitana
