The pool was spotless and warm, the staff went above and beyond, breakfast was freshly cooked with quality ingredients, the sitting room was cozy, the room itself was clean and comfortable, the location was ideal for exploring, a bus stop was close to Beverly and a 20‑minute ride gave a break from driving up from Kent, the grounds beside a beautiful golf course were fabulous, and I even watched squirrels in the pool.

“Perfect for an overnight stay.”

Breakfast was excellent and I could pick exactly what I wanted, the location was very peaceful, and thoughtful touches like cold water on tap were appreciated.

“A fantastic stay which felt incredibly private due to its wonderful service and quality facilities.”

The privacy felt incredible; we could head straight to breakfast and the staff treated us specially because we were the only ones in the room, so our breakfast arrived super fast and tasted great. The privacy also let us book the pool and steam room just for us, which was awesome. The room was a nice size with a lovely view of the grounds, and overall it felt like the whole place and its facilities were just for us. The only downside was the 10‑15 minute walk to lunch, dinner, and the shops for essentials—since the village is small, finding affordable options was tough. Finding the guest house itself was a challenge; we almost missed it on the bus because there were no signs.
