The owner was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable with a kettle, fridge, and microwave; the location was excellent—just a short walk from Pile Gate and a bus stop. Everything was great and I’d stay here again.

The room was comfortable and well appointed, and Dominica was a wonderful host—thanks a lot to her. The place is so conveniently located just outside the City Walls; we felt lucky to be so close. One night there was some revelry outside our window, but that’s expected near the action, and the unit was actually quiet given the location.

The owner was kind, and even though I arrived late at night I didn’t cause any trouble; she handled everything kindly. There was a fridge, so I could keep drinks cold, which was handy in the hot summer. No complaints.

The location is really convenient—directly outside the Pile gate (west) and under the Red Keep. The bathroom was very clean and comfy, and the hostess was very kind. The price was exaggerated for the amenities offered, which were basically nothing; there wasn’t even a bottle of water in the fridge. The bed was old, and the only coffee and tea were off‑the‑shelf instant options, making the room feel like a prison for 150€ a night.
