The front desk staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. However, when we arrived at our room we had to request housekeeping to change the sheets, and when they came they admitted the sheets hadn’t been changed at all. We booked for the water slide, but it was closed during our stay.

My son liked the pool, but I was upset because I had paid in advance on bookings.com, only to be told at the hotel that the payment hadn’t been received and I had to pay again—so I was charged twice.

The hotel’s central spot in St John’s, its tidy upkeep, and the East Side Mario (I think that's the name) Restaurant and Bar were great; the only downside was that the restaurant and bar closed too early.
