You can order delivery food and the surrounding scenery is nice; the owner is very kind and helpful, the interior design is unique and pretty, and the most important thing is the incredibly cute cat. I suggest staying for two nights for a hotel break or rest before heading to Altin Arashan.

The units you get for the price are really good and you’re just at the edge of Korakol, which means a short drive to and from the town. The units have AC and floor heating, and with the changing temperatures of the day both are needed. The units have chairs and a table to sit inside or out, and there is a large seating area outside each unit. The staff wasn’t really prepared for our visit and it wasn’t entirely clear what was included and what was not in the bill, but it was a minor issue.

The domes actually lack a mountain view; the peaks lie to the right, but those domes have no windows, so you must exit the dome to see them. Our first room was filthy, with dead bugs along the window, stained sheets, and a door that wouldn’t lock. When we asked for a different room, the new one was also dirty, had no A/C, and the glass shower door fell off the first time we opened it. No toilet paper was provided in either room, as if it were “bring your own.” At over USD$500 for three nights—excessively pricey for Kyrgyzstan, especially Karakol—we left and booked another hotel a short walk away for a third of the cost, with a clean room, toilet paper, A/C, a mountain view, and breakfast included.

The rooms were in very bad condition, heavily neglected and with many broken items.

The glamping was wonderful, warm, and everything was great. Everything was great.
