The location was terrific, with nice breakfast spots nearby, and the staff were friendly and very accommodating, though there was no room safe.

The place was lovely, with friendly staff who even made us pizza because we didn’t want to leave; we stayed because of an early eye appointment at Goole Hospital and will return for future appointments in Gooke. I highly recommend this hotel/pub.

Warm and friendly welcome to a lively town pub in a central location, close to a variety of nice shops anx the Minster. A convenient car park, comfortable bed. I took a single room, but it was perfectly adequate for one. Well explained entry and exit arrangements. I didn't try the menu. A small amount of smoke entered the bedroom from the outdoor area below. I nearly shut the window so not a problem. A bit noisy until around 10.00

The welcome was nice and the staff friendly. As a couple, we only received one cup, one face towel, and one bath towel; by the time we noticed it was too late to fix it. The staff weren’t at fault, but a woman and her friends’ party next door kept us awake until about 3 am. I complained to those occupants, but they were too drunk to care. No staff were around at check‑out to address the issues.
