The new structure has great potential, with warm rooms and a new bathroom; Augustino is a considerate host who always asked what time we wanted breakfast, respecting our schedules—even outside the hotel’s standard times—and prepared it on the spot with fresh ingredients. Even though the building is new, it’s managed solely by Augustine, who does his best; however, many common areas are unused, which is a shame. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the city centre, still reachable by cheap taxis.

The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is brand‑new, and everything is super clean; the staff, Agustín, is very friendly, and the décor is beautiful. There is no heating, though you can request a heater be brought to the room; there is also no coffee maker or teapot in the room. Breakfast isn’t a buffet and is quite limited, offering no real choices. The location is far from Puno, about a half‑hour drive away.

The accommodation was spotless and roomy, with comfortable beds and easy taxi transport to Puno arranged by the owner; the owner was very kind and made our stay feel special. We were extremely grateful for his flexibility in preparing breakfast before our early departure to Lake Titicaca, though while our rooms were well heated, the rest of the building felt uncomfortably cold.

The place is solid, the room was spotless, breakfast was tasty, and the owner was incredibly kind. It’s a bit far from Puno’s center, but a taxi gets you there easily.
