We could reach Wheat Ridge easily for family trips, and the staff were friendly and helpful; we arrived late and the TV in our assigned room wasn’t working, so they swapped us for a new room immediately. The beds were a bit hard even though the pillows were great; the pool area was open until 11 pm and the hot tub was a nice bonus, but it was extremely slippery around the pool, many children left dirty towels instead of putting them in the buckets, and staff didn’t clean up the pool room at all. The mini‑fridge in the room was basically a light with a fan and didn’t keep anything cool; we had to use the ice bucket to chill drinks and even putting them in the mini‑fridge didn’t help. The lobby could have had free coffee, and the coffee at the Bristro was subpar and expensive.

The location was great, close to Red Rocks and many eateries, and the rooms were clean and comfortable with a nice pool and hot tub. Check‑in was supposed to be at 3 pm, but we asked for early and got no reply; when we arrived we had to wait until after 4 pm for a room. The app asked if we wanted housekeeping, we said yes, but when we asked at the front desk we were told it was every other day and there were no extra paper products in the room. Also, several spots in the parking lot had leftover trash, including broken glass, left over for multiple days.
