We were upgraded to a better room at Distrito Panamera Tulum because they were doing maintenance at Aluna and we were a bit uncomfortable, but we loved it. The staff were very attentive, especially the receptionist named Angeles. The only downside was the sargazo on the beach, everything else was perfect.

We ended up staying at Distrito Panamera after being moved to their sister hotel the week before we arrived, which wasn't our choice. The property looks gorgeous and the staff are helpful. The rooms are tidy but lack a TV, fridge, wardrobe, and hairdryer. The food and drinks are pricey, and breakfast options are very limited.

The rooms were nice and clean, and the free drinks in the evening were a lovely touch. The rooftop bar and restaurant were never open and looked abandoned, so the photos advertising the property are misleading. Breakfast is listed as starting at 7, but it actually begins around 7:20, which is inconvenient for us since we had a transfer booked.
