The location was very beautiful and quiet, the staff were very nice, and the room was clean; the breakfast quality was good, but the buffet selection could have been a bit larger.

We chose this spot because a tango night was happening nearby, so we booked the closest place we could find. At first the staff couldn’t locate our reservation, but they sorted it out quickly and efficiently. The breakfast, however, was mediocre and we skipped it on the second morning.

“Come rovinare un soggiorno ad un ignaro turista!”

There was nothing positive because the place turned out to be a nursing home rather than a hotel, and that should have been made clear up front. I only learned it was a senior residence after calling for clarification, being told there were no bookings because it was a nursing home, then receiving a call an hour later that they had made a mistake, which ruined my Zurich trip by first making me fear a scam, then worrying about having no room to sleep, and finally leaving me sad about spending old age far from loved ones in an institution.
