“Hidden Gem Close to Ubud Center”

This hidden gem is about a 10/15‑minute drive from Ubud, situated in the rice fields so you’re surrounded by nature—a nice escape from Ubud’s hustle and bustle. The pool is amazing, perfect for chilling in the afternoon when it gets hot. The bed is super comfy; we slept great all four nights. The owner and staff are lovely, and there are two cute cats that lounge around the villa. We had breakfast one morning, definitely worth the price. I would highly recommend this place and would stay again if we return to Ubud.

“Small feedbacks... keep it up!!!”

I liked the view around the villa, and the room itself is really simple and compact. They need to fix the entrance door lock, provide shampoo and soap with labels so guests know which one to use, and ensure all kitchen equipment is washed and clean beforehand.

“Super!”

It was traumhaft schön and the Gastgeberin is the Beste! She does everything to make it as schön as possible. The pool and the kitchen were our highlight. I can only recommend it highly. The only thing to know is that the accommodation isn’t in the center of Ubud. But that makes it perfect for Tagesausflüge. If you want to go to Ubud Center every day, you should look for a zentraler Unterkunft, because otherwise traffic can make it take a long time to get there.

Off the beaten path. As the property said “no pets”, I assumed there would be no pets. When I arrived the staff told me there are two cats, but they won’t bother. I told them I have allergies to cats, but as long as I don’t physically come into contact with them, I should be fine. The staff assured the cats are well behaved. But they were very intrusive. The moment I crack the door open ever so slightly, they dash into the room and immediately jump on the bed. My bed, pillow and blanket were covered in cat hair and there was no staff during the day to change the bedding. I survived the night, but with a lot of discomfort. Also the cats were pounding on the door at night (because of the structure of the door, it was making banging sounds), scratching and meowing outside. This is a misrepresentation of the property. I contacted the owner and informed that the cat hair was on the bed; she told me that the cats will calm down if ignored for long enough, but it was middle of the night and they were quite bent on getting into the room. Also the owner suggested I can move the cats outside without touching them? (how?) instead of offering the staff to do that. So there were not so helpful suggestions, but no measures taken. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this is a real shortcoming and the primary purpose of a hotel is to get some sleep. Which is hard when you’re itching and have cats rattling the door and meowing and scratching to get in.

“Great place in the middle of nature”

This is the best place I have ever stayed in my life, stunning view from every corner, great design and an amazing 2 cats who made our stay unforgettable.
