We loved it! We spotted howler monkeys, a sloth, and a toucan in the tree above our car in the parking lot, plus baby toucans near the pool. There’s also a great nature walk and fantastic views of Lake Arenal. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the included beer tasting. This was a perfect stop on our Costa Rican road trip; we were sad we didn’t stay another night.

The place is incredible. It offers beautiful views, the pools are great, and the attention from Saleska was exceptional!

The lake views and the facility are just amazing. The Spanish‑style open common area spans two levels with a restaurant, bar, pool table, and we watched the World Cup there—my boyfriend really liked the pineapple ale. Nothing to complain about; we loved it.

The location was good, but the air conditioning cost extra, the place looked very old and rundown, and they didn't let me drink my own beer.

What I liked most was the Tilarán area and its surroundings; the hotel offered a nice view of the lake, decent parking, and pleasant weather. Honestly, the facilities were a bit neglected, the food was somewhat pricey for the area, the craft beer was awful, and when I arrived they charged me a different price than what I had booked.
