The facilities were great, but someone was eating something very smelly in front of the elevator.

It was an hour to Makati, with nearby stuff and places to eat, plus a pool, but there was social isolation and a lack of dishes in the kitchen.

I was impressed by the security and the pool, but the guard on duty made me uneasy by asking for my room number outside the lobby instead of calmly checking the key card inside. I also asked for a table and chair, which were only offered if available, yet when I entered my room there was nothing, forcing me to return to the lobby to request them again even though they were part of my booking.

The water dispenser at the end of the hallway, just a few steps from my room, was handy, but I was disappointed that toiletries were missing and it wasn’t clear if they were supposed to be included.
