Visually it matches the pictures, but some lamps didn’t work; the TV in one room wouldn’t turn on. For two nights we received only one bottle of shampoo and one bottle of shower gel—seriously? There was also a broken shower‑head holder in the shower, and the sound insulation was poor.

The staff were very friendly and caring, and they greeted us late at night because we were delayed on the road. However, on several occasions we’ve had black hair on the bed linen or towels, and this time we got a torn towel that was still clean.

The location is great and the refurbishment is high quality, plus the staff are friendly. One night there was noise in the walls and ceiling, like something was running through the pipes, which made it almost impossible to sleep.
