I was instantly greeted like an old friend at Birches, and the rooms were gorgeous with a lovely breakfast; the night was filled with laughs and great chats with other guests, and everything else was flawless!

Everything was fantastic: the breakfast was superb, the host was wonderful, and the rooms were beautifully appointed and comfortable in every way, though we only stayed one night.

The place was spotless and well presented, with staff who were friendly and well‑versed in the local area. We were treated to a lovely afternoon tea upon arrival and a beautiful breakfast the next morning. I’d recommend it to anyone, as there was nothing to dislike.

From the moment I stepped into Birches B&B, I knew I’d stumbled upon something special. The room was immaculate, beautifully arranged, and packed with thoughtful touches, but the bed was the real star—by far the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on, leaving me more rested than in ages. Ken, the host, was warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to ensuring every guest enjoys a wonderful stay; his meticulous attention to detail and hospitality made all the difference. If you’re searching for accommodation in Taree, I can’t recommend Birches B&B enough; it’s one of those rare places that goes beyond every expectation, and I’ll be hunting for any excuse to return. Five stars simply don’t cut it.
