The location is excellent, just a few steps from the canal and the market. The reception was very responsive. Even though the building is old, the room has all the conveniences: a toilet, TV, iron and ironing board, fridge, kettle, mugs, tea, coffee, and bottled water. I recommend it :)

This is my fourth time, and it was as comfortable and pleasant as always, at a very good price in a great location. Just a few steps from the Brda river, the Old Town, and parking is included in the price. The interior décor is a bit old-fashioned, but it’s in good condition and clean. I’ll be back.

The historic palace sits on the banks of the Brda River that cuts through the old town, with a riverside walk; walking to the center takes 10‑15 minutes, or you can hop on a tram just 200 m from a major stop. The room is huge, equipped with a mini‑fridge, kettle, mugs, tea, ground coffee, bottled water, two armchairs, a desk… A fascinating place where every detail is steeped in history. I would not recommend arriving after sunset; although the staff directions were crystal clear, the road in front of the hotel isn’t well lit, and the underpass from the tram is quite bleak at night.
