We found it an oasis after driving from Padang to Medan for three weeks. Samosir offered us a moment of rest, comfort, luxury, and courteous service, making it the perfect base on the island where plenty of sights and activities await. Starting the day in the pool or unwinding at the end of the day by the pool in a beautifully landscaped garden, or simply lounging, swimming, sunbathing, and eating well. The only point to note is that the more area is not reachable or accessible from the resort; the bar closes early in the evening, yet the staff have already spent an entire day there.
