I liked the space, the convenience, the friendliness of the staff, the pool, and the dogs. There was nothing to complain about.

We only stayed one night because we were passing through, but we enjoyed it to the fullest. The peace, tranquility, scenery, pool, apartment, and overall facilities were all relaxing and had a great vibe. Nuno and Rosario were charming. We will definitely return!

I especially appreciated the setting, where I could rest. It’s calm and everyone respects each other. The staff is attentive and present if a problem arises. We liked everything, the team is wonderful, but the breakfast could be improved with fresh pastries.

“Agradável...mas com necessidade de alguns ajustes.”

I liked the tranquility of the place – Serra de S. Mamede. For those who enjoy being away from city noise, cars, and the like, the location has that advantage. It’s close to Portalegre but far enough that we can hear birds, wind, and nature sounds. The soup was very pleasant! As a suggestion: the space needs some touch‑ups regarding furniture structure and details such as towel holders, furniture, hinges. Also, we were in the middle of Alentejo and had expected that, when we opted for all‑included meals, the food would be more typical of the region. The meals (especially lunch and dinner) left a lot to be desired. I understand the concept is meant to be executed by guests (hence the equipped kitchens), but when we intended to include all meals except starters, soup, and dessert, the main dish was not varied. It’s possible to bring dogs, but despite nothing being against it, the fact that the farm dogs are loose makes us feel more comfortable with ours.

“Silêncio e paz: um retiro na serra”

The location is fantastic. Although there is a short dirt path, access is easy. Proximity to the road makes visiting the city much easier, yet no car or street noise can be heard. It’s an authentic place of peace and silence in the middle of the mountains. The whole team is excellent; we had a minor fridge issue and it was resolved in about 2 hours without any inconvenience. Also, it’s impossible not to mention the favorite elements of the estate – the group of four dogs. They’re friendly, don’t involuntarily bother anyone, and live their lives waiting for a little bread. The food was very good, the breakfast diverse for the type of tourism, the accommodation follows a rustic style – DVDs for movies and radio for music. We loved these details; they made the experience even more unique. The pool and common areas are always very clean and tidy. Unfortunately, the only negative point I can point out is the cleanliness of the room. I understand that in high season it can be hard to do a deep clean, but when we used some kitchen utensils for the first time we found food residue. Nothing that can’t be resolved, but it’s just an aspect that needs a bit more care.
