“Visite du Luxembourg sur un week-end.”
We didn’t take breakfast because we found it too expensive. Very good welcome. Only one coffee pod per person, which is too little for a coffee lover like me.

The on-site restaurant, La Feuille d'Or, serves seasonal dishes made with fresh ingredients. Spacious room. Nice bathroom with shower. Very good bed. Excellent restaurant. Extensive breakfast selection. Late opening of the breakfast table on Saturday and Sunday was unfortunate. After insisting, breakfast was served exceptionally from 7.30 am. Still a bit late if you have a long journey ahead.

The hotel is run by a family, everything is top quality, and there’s a free bus that takes you straight into the city centre.

I was lucky to get one of the newly renovated rooms, it was very nice with comfortable beds, plenty of space, and a modern shower area; the room even had a coffee pod machine. The reception staff were very friendly and the air conditioning worked well in that room, though not all rooms in the hotel share that feature. I didn’t try the breakfast or the restaurant, so I can’t comment on that. The fridge could still use a bit more capacity, and a slightly larger TV would be nice if you actually need one. The half‑glass shower partitions look stylish but they tend to let a lot of water escape, which makes the bathroom feel wet. Other rooms that haven’t been updated yet are okay, but the new ones are definitely better.

I stayed in a room that had no wardrobe or drawers, the breakfast was a disappointment with tiny cups and only mini rolls, and the place isn’t suitable for people with mobility issues.
