The staff were fabulous, the room was lovely, and the location was unbeatable.
“Cómodo, bonito, bien ubicado”
The spot was excellent, the room was spacious and comfortable, and we were only 5 minutes from the Cathedral, 10 minutes from the train station, with plenty of dining and walking options nearby. We found two bugs in the bed and developed rashes; the heat was high and the fan didn’t cut it.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the location was good, but the mattress was too soft for my taste.
The location was spot‑on, just a stone’s throw from everything, set on a small, charming square that was a bit noisy from the many bars but still bearable. The pension would benefit from air conditioning or a ceiling fan; we struggled in September’s heat.

The pension sits close to cafés, the Glória Gate, and the train station—great location. The owner is friendly and explains everything, and the cleaning is another plus. We experienced unusually extreme heat in Galicia, almost 40 °C with a red alert; the pension had no air conditioning or fan, so we had to ask the owner for one, which he promptly provided. We had to sleep with the windows open because the heat was intense. The pension isn’t equipped for hot or unusual summer days, and the lack of an elevator is a drawback that made moving luggage tiring. The bed’s mattress was sinking and needs replacement.
