We loved the experience at Gyeongju Madang Hanok. The place is gorgeous, impeccably maintained, and supremely comfortable, giving a truly special and authentic stay. It was definitely a great choice for our time in Gyeongju. The only downside was the lack of communication: we tried reaching out several days ahead but never got a reply. Luckily that didn’t affect our stay, which was excellent. Overall, we highly recommend this accommodation and would stay again.

I was able to relax slowly and comfortably. Having a bathtub seemed to help wash away travel fatigue. The location was also very good.

A beautiful, very traditional space. It’s near the center but free from the noise of shops and restaurants. If you visit the tombs or gardens, it’s very close.

This Hanok is very beautiful. The place is peaceful. Our room was extremely clean and decorated with a lot of charm.

A beautiful hanok. Very comfortable accommodations. Traditional look with modern facilities. The hanok is about a 10‑minute walk from the main area of cafés and shops but it’s very walkable. The owner even left a little breakfast sandwich and juice in our fridge. The location is a little far from the main area on a quiet street, but it’s very walkable. It’s only an 8‑minute walk from the main bus station.
