The location was solid and the staff were polite, but the water pressure in the apartment was terrible—no hot water for showers and the taps barely worked. One bed creaked loudly, making sleep impossible. There’s no mini‑bar or fridge in the room; the only fridge is a shared one in the hallway, which isn’t helpful when it’s 40 °C outside. Even though the building has a lift, the lack of adequate water pressure made the stay frustrating.

The spot was spot‑on, right in the heart of town. We opted for breakfast, which was decent and lovingly prepared. The room was clean and had everything you’d need.

The place was perfect for our pilgrimage—just a 10‑minute walk to the church and close to both the Cross Mountain and Apparition Hill. Mario was a warm, welcoming host who served great breakfasts and arranged transport to Mostar for a day trip, as well as the bus back from a town 25 minutes away. The rooms were simple but clean, comfortable, and ideal for a week of prayer and reflection. We liked everything.
