“Lovely weekend spent celebrating my daughter’s birthday”
The location, living space, and outdoor decking area were impressive. The caravan owner was very helpful, providing guidance and info on the fun passes needed for swimming and entertainment. The double bed was a bit too small and short for us.

The location was beautiful in a well‑maintained complex. However, the entrance had video surveillance, and the in‑unit cameras were not excluded. The kitchen was dirty: dishes, glasses, a pan, cutlery, cabinets, bedding, bathroom, and rooms were all filthy. There wasn’t enough cutlery for four people, no large pot, and the sink basin was cracked, cutting us. The plug for the sink was missing entirely. The apartment was damp; walking barefoot was impossible because the socks got wet instantly. Stored bags were soaked. Dehumidifiers were everywhere, and the room smelled like damp. We stored the containers in cabinets because there were too many, and they seemed to mask mold odors. We ventilated a lot due to condensation on the windows and to remove moisture. There was bird droppings on the older window. Heating was controlled by the landlord via the internet. On Saturday we were very cold; the room heater only helped a little. Later the landlord showed us the heating control, which was in the kitchen at the warmest spot. There was no information on Wi‑Fi, pool access, or house rules, so we had to ask the landlord for every detail, which was annoying and caused disputes about pool entry. The kitchen ventilation flap suddenly shut down. More photos are available.
This caravan was amazing, with a fantastic location and a lovely decking area that overlooked the sea. We didn't have any issues at all, and we'd definitely stay here again. The setup was perfect for a relaxing getaway.
We just returned from a lovely stay at Reighton Sands. There’s plenty to do on site and nearby; we visited Scarborough, Filey, and Filey Zoo, which was great for kids. Our 9‑year‑old grandson and my 89‑year‑old mother joined us, covering all ages. The caravan was in a great spot, clean, comfortable, and we’ll definitely stay there again. Communication with the owners was excellent. The weather was unpredictable, but that’s unavoidable.
