The location was fine, but the rooms weren’t well cared for.

“Great hotel but somehow there’s a bug issue.”

The room was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, yet each morning I woke up with more bite marks than before; they didn’t resemble bed bugs, so I’m not convinced the hotel was to blame, but the number of bites kept increasing.

The location was acceptable, but our used towels were left on the floor wet and re‑hung; same‑day laundry never arrived. We called the front desk three times, and they insisted on waiting until the next day. When they finally returned the towels, they were dirty in the original bag. No new toiletries were ever refilled. My husband asked for a newspaper and was told the front desk staff didn’t know where to get one. Since we had already paid in advance, we were told no refund was possible—even though breakfast had been paid for. The hotel looks tired and needs an overhaul; the only redeeming factor is its location.

The hotel is beautiful, the spot is great, and the staff are very friendly, but there were road works outside that ran until the early hours, which was obviously not the hotel’s fault.

“Stay was good.”

The place is spotless and the metro is just a hop away, which is great. The only downside was our room’s position; the view was just the side and top of another building, and I wasn’t a fan of the glass doors leading into the bathroom.
