The property was closed, so I couldn’t stay there during my trip and had to find somewhere else. I wasn’t informed that the property was closed (no message, email, or phone call); the excuse given was that there was no more water in the building. I was never reimbursed, despite numerous attempts to contact the owner. I do not recommend this place at all—it’s a scam

We arrived around 4 pm, the staff had been warned by a prior WhatsApp discussion. Still, we had to wait outside. We had booked a room for women, with two bunk beds and a private bathroom. The bedding was deplorable, with a spring bed that creaked with every movement. The bathroom was clean but had no shower pressure, making it hard to rinse after the beach. A strong weed smell permeated the establishment, normal because we share space with a weed shop. Cheap and attractive lodging if you just want to sleep there for a few nights.

There was no reception. The place was dirty. They had a problem (not their fault) with no water, and that made us pay. I don’t recommend the place. It’s a room with a door to the street and the bathrooms at the back, and the bathrooms were not cared for.

The staff were sweet and the location was good, but everything was digital, the beds were uncomfortable, and there was no hot water or shower flow.

The hostel was fantastic, with a very friendly and accommodating owner; the outdoor area felt like an outdoor living room with cozy seating, making it a great spot for solo travelers to mingle; it sits south of Chaweng Beach’s main street, perfect for those who want to be close to the action without hearing it; bars, restaurants, laundromats, and 7/11s are all within a short walk; the staff cleaned the bathroom and common areas daily; the mattress was comfortable and I appreciated having my own reading light; I also rented a scooter from the owner to explore the island; the hostel offered an easy access code for entry and exit and provided one locker with a key.
