The staff were friendly, yet the room was damp and smelled moldy, like a pool locker room; they kindly swapped it after the first night, and the new room was slightly better, but overall the place suffers from poor ventilation and isn’t a healthy sleeping environment.

This is my third stay at Madison Hotel. The hotel offers a great location, excellent service, comfortable rooms, and free minibar drinks—it's the only hotel I would stay at in Taipei. Since Marriott Bonvoy bought the hotel, they stopped offering free cocktails unless you are in the elite tier of their membership.
