The location is solid, yet the shared spaces don’t have AC.
“I won't stay here again; it's a HOT mess!!!”
The bed was comfy, and Tim Hortons was right next door; Tomatillos Restaurant was about a 3‑minute walk. Don’t stay here—just move on, trust me! The lobby had no AC, it was 110 degrees outside, and the doors were open with only a fan blowing at the staff. I’ve never seen such a scene; it feels like they’re cutting costs. The restaurant was over‑priced, comparable to an American steakhouse but without that vibe. A Caesar salad, some enchiladas, a bottle of water, and a cappuccino cost $62.00. No fridge in the room, but for 1000.00 Pesos they’ll bring one and set it up—just another money grab. The TV was tiny with only one English channel (I know it’s Mexico, but at least a few English stations are expected). Everything feels old; the elevator barely works. It’s an old, dingy place that needs a remodel, but they’re not investing. I’d expect more for the price—Motel 6 is better and cheaper. I’ve stayed at all kinds of motels/hotels; the price doesn’t match the amenities. Towels were stiff and smelled bad. Front‑desk staff seemed miserable, no smiles, just curt; I understand it’s a rough place, but it’s disheartening. Cleaning ladies were similarly rushed. The place has potential, but not under current ownership. Don’t waste money—they don’t reinvest in the facility, and it shows. I think the lobby was hotter than outside—crazy! The bar is in the lobby too; you’ll sweat to meet someone for a drink, yet no one’s there. Walk outside the room and it feels like a sauna.
Overall functional, but it needs a lot of maintenance.
The spot is great, but the common areas lack air conditioning.
Everything was very clean.
