The air conditioning worked. However, there was a lack of equipment, squatters at the base of the hotel, a broken shower, a broken shelf, and the mattresses and linens needed updating.

“Tout dernier recours uniquement et maniaques s'abstenir”

The only thing that worked was the location, right on the outskirts of Béziers and just 10 minutes from a pirate restaurant that also has a huge kids’ play structure. Everything else was filthy: the two showers probably hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, with grime deposits in the basins that I’d never seen before. The sheets looked clean, yet there was a strong tobacco‑like odor. We had arranged a breakfast time with the front desk lady, but by the next morning nobody was there and the numbers were unreachable. After waiting 30 minutes we left, with the kids complaining they were hungry. The place was overall rundown and clearly in need of major maintenance; I never expected to see that in a professional establishment. It’s a shame because the location has great potential.

The air conditioning and the separation of beds were positives. The walls were dirty, the floor wasn’t maintained, and the mattress was too soft.

“A fuir”

The heat was unbearable and the toilet was poorly mounted. The room was filthy, with mold, dusty floors, and random objects under the beds. The bed linens smelled bad and their cleanliness was questionable. The air‑conditioners were extremely noisy. The reception was unhelpful. We left the next day and didn’t have the courage to stay another night.

“J’ai du réserve et partir ailleurs.”

The hotel was dirty, so I had to move to another hotel; it was unacceptable for a family to stay there. The photos do not match the room we received.
