The hotel had a KL vibe with a calming experience, but there were some special issues.

The location was superb in a quiet area, everything needed was conveniently reachable, and the service was friendly and helpful. We were greeted with coffee and could use one of the two rooms much earlier than expected. If an infinity pool with a view isn’t a must, this hotel is a far better choice than an apartment in a residence.

I liked the spacious room and the fact that it faced the pool with a balcony; the staff handled all my requests very helpfully. However, there were many things I didn’t like about the place. First, it isn’t a hotel but a residential compound. My biggest issue was the lack of an elevator and the noise from the water pump above my room, so I had to ask them to turn it off every night. Cleaning wasn’t great, and the facilities could be much better. There was no place to hold shampoo or soap in the shower, the bathroom had broken parts and didn’t look clean. The kitchen and TV were shared with other people staying in the house. Even though the location is in the embassy area, there’s nothing nearby—no supermarket, metro, or anything else.

The owner was very kind, handing us adapters for outlets and mosquito repellent, which we appreciated a lot. The room was spotless, hot water was available, and everything else was perfect; we even borrowed an extra fan. A convenient spot was provided for parking our motorcycle. Mosquitoes were plentiful, but using the repellent fixed that. We could hear someone swimming in the pool, yet when children swam there a few times it didn’t bother us.

We’re back for the second time, and everything remains great. The staff are lovely, and the rooms are spacious with extremely comfortable beds. We chose this place because it isn’t a high‑rise building. Esther, a lovely lady, was especially helpful.
