“Volveré”

The breakfast was excellent and the location seems very good. However, the bed had a sagging mattress that prevented me from resting well.

They have a very nice restaurant, we had dinner there and used our free breakfast upgrade in the morning, and there is safe parking with valet service. We stayed on Mexican Independence Day, and the salon was being used for an event; it was to be expected, but from our room we could hear the noise from them until about 2 am. Something to think about if you stay there and you know they have an event on. This is not a complaint, just an observation.

“Nada recomendable”

The hotel’s architecture is very beautiful, once part of the mission so it has a hacienda feel. There are several issues: first, it is no longer part of the Mission chain, so it was let down too much; this was noticeable from arrival as they seem to have little staff. The staff service was terrible from the start; the receptionist assumed we knew the room and didn’t indicate where it was until we asked, and it was a disaster. There is little staff and, although they claim to have bellhops, we never saw them; they never brought our luggage in or out, so we had to do everything ourselves. Breakfast is the worst scam; Booking says it includes breakfast, but it’s deplorable. According to them it’s continental, but they only give a mini cup of coffee and boxed bread, and that’s all they include; Booking never says that, and this is where they try to get you to buy what they offer. The only thing I do acknowledge is that the restaurant seasoning is very good. Hygiene in the rooms is correct, but it seems they refill supplies to the minimum and charge everything separately; nothing is included except the water bottle, coffee, and coffee maker all cost extra. The bathroom supplies were filled with the minimum, so the shampoo and soap barely appeared, and it was obvious it was intentional because in high season the maid apparently doesn’t check. Some general bathrooms were dirty, they didn’t clean them, and the restaurant menus were dirty and full of dust. Checkout is supposed to be at 12 pm per Booking, but the reception told us we had to leave before 12, so they didn’t respect the stated time. The old building smells damp, and from 7 am they start cleaning or something, so you can’t rest. The rooms are very small and the noise is heard throughout the hotel. The area where it is located is not near the center, and the surrounding streets are ugly, neglected, full of potholes, and there are no nearby amenities or plazas, so you have to consider that.

“Solo fue para dormir y desayunar, lo del desayuno fue lo que me inclinó decidirme pero no fue bueno”

It was said that breakfast was included, but it was only continental, no other type of breakfast, unlike other hotels that do when they say it on their website. I booked for three people—two adults and one child—and while breakfast was supposed to be included, the child’s breakfast was not included and had to be paid separately. I didn’t like that the rooms are smaller than they appear on the internet. The shower area lacks cleanliness.

“Aceptable”

The cleaning and staff friendliness were good, but the room was too small and didn’t match the photos I booked with.
