“Lovely Woodland Hotel”

The Waldrast Hotel was an ideal spot to kick off our Dolomites honeymoon; it’s a cozy, intimate place that blends with the nearby forest and offers lovely patio views overlooking the valley. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the rooms were roomy and comfortable. Though the spa was small, it was sufficient for a relaxing soak after hiking. Breakfast was tasty, and while the selection wasn’t huge, the items served were delicious and kept us energized for the day. The town itself has limited dining options, so we had a good dinner at the hotel one night; the menu wasn’t varied, but the food was solid. The downside was that we stayed in Room 101, opposite the lift and stairs, and in the evenings and early mornings we could hear the staff downstairs in the bar as glasses and bottles were moved around. It would have been nice to see more variety on the evening menu.

The property was lovely, with great sauna, pool, and spa facilities. The front bar and pool area were very picturesque. My room was clean and comfortable. The only issue was that I booked a twin room with an open bathroom setting, which left very little privacy when showering.

“Nochmal buchen wir hier nicht 👎🏻”

The location is great, just a short walk to the mountain railway. It was very noisy and echo‑eyed; the robot mower ran right through the night and lights shone into the windows. Also, people were mowing the lawn on weekends starting at 7:00 am, which was exhausting.

The boutique hotel had a pleasant, family‑friendly atmosphere in a superb location close to forest walking trails. The restaurant was excellent, and the spa facilities were indulgent; we had a wonderful stay. We liked everything.

The location was good. The breakfast was a bit sparse.
