A few days at the lodge were enough to renew my soul and recharge my energy. I loved everything, felt like I was in the Hobbit County. A wonderful place close to everything, with a very helpful, polite, and friendly staff, and what surprised me most was the concierge Tom, who gave the sweetest welcome in the world. If you go, just know that Tom is a very affectionate cat. The breakfast is very good and complete. The chalet I stayed in was well equipped, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen, air conditioning, heater, hair dryer, hot tub… everything worked perfectly. I went on vacation to rest and recover from the work rush and transportation, and it was the best choice I could have made. I’ll come back and definitely recommend it. Nothing to complain about because I really liked everything.

We traveled to Brotas to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. The town is cute, the inn is beautiful and well‑equipped, and the location is great; it would have been 10 stars if not for the reservation error that caused a lot of frustration. Reception staff were very good, and when the mistake was confirmed, manager João handled the situation promptly and managed the crisis well; he couldn’t fix the problem because it was impossible, but he did ease the damage. The experience wasn’t what we had planned but it was still very good. The chalet was clean and well organized, very cool inside but the heaters were indispensable. On Friday night we ordered a portion and beer in the chalet; it arrived very quickly, was well served and delicious—kudos to the kitchen staff and the delivery girls. Breakfast offered many options, everything was great, and on Sunday I was thrilled to find carrot cake, my favorite, which was a delight! Manager João promised us a discount so we could return and have the planned experience that wasn’t possible this time. We’d like to come back in a warmer period to enjoy the pleasant pool area.
