The facilities were clean, every room faced a runway, and because the highway was right in front, the higher floors offered a better view of take‑offs and landings; the staff apparently hold a monthly gathering with guests, and I joined during the full moon, which was a fun and friendly experience. Long‑term guests seem common, and they even lend out irons and nail clippers, which was a huge help. The transport is not great: the nearest bus stop is a 20‑minute walk, and the monorail takes about 30 minutes.

I liked that the Umi‑Gaji Terrace, where you can see planes, was close by. When I checked in, the parking was full and I asked a businessman‑like staff member what to do; he was very curt and that left me feeling a bit annoyed.

The place felt more like a clean, comfortable apartment than a hotel room, and the plane noise that I expected to hear turned out to be barely noticeable once I was inside. I arrived after dark and found the entrance from the main road into the parking area hard to locate, which made me nervous because of the heavy traffic, so a larger sign would have been helpful.
