The staff are the best part of the place. You can reach them with any query and they reply with all the patience in the world. Breakfast in the morning was on time and generous for one person. I booked it because it was a two‑minute walk from my conference venue. The location is also right next to Colombo port. The room was very spacious and also had facilities such as a small refrigerator and TV. Last but not least, the sea view from the balcony. The washroom facilities could use a little attention. Usually a room with a considerable booking amount would provide basic necessities such as toothpaste, shampoo, body wash and a hair dryer. There is a Kells store nearby so it was easy to buy the items. However, I was expecting them. The balcony could certainly use a lot of sparkle. If not sparkle, at least cleanliness.

The breakfast was a highlight of my stay - it was great value for the price and had a wide range of options. Unfortunately, my room was infested with cockroaches, which was a major turn-off. I was really looking forward to a comfortable stay, but this was a major letdown.
The location was excellent, within walking distance to Galle Face, a shopping mall, etc. Our room was huge, very spacious and clean. We had a balcony facing the Indian Ocean. Staff was very helpful, Mahesh and Dipanda provided great customer service. Breakfast was great. Good value for money. Would recommend.
