The breakfast was really good, the staff were helpful and welcoming, the location was very nice and the view was beautiful. Access to the beach costs at least 20 € a day, and the buses to the town don’t run quite regularly.
Waking up to the stunning view every morning was a highlight, and the breakfast exceeded typical Italian standards with more variety than a standard continental spread. The staff were all very kind and always greeted us with a smile, arranged taxis that we could pay for at checkout, and the drivers were friendly, even offering a bottle of cold water one day. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The property itself was beautiful and well‑maintained, and the rooms were tidy except for the shower. Despite that, the value for money was very good and I would recommend it to friends and family. The only downside was the stairs leading into the property and up to the hotel rooms; they were difficult for me to climb daily, even though I am 25 and relatively fit. Elderly guests or those with limited mobility should avoid this. The shower was the sole negative experience throughout our 5‑night stay: the door was broken and flimsy, and the shower head fell on my head twice, the second time causing a significant hit to my forehead. The head was made of plastic, not metal, and was not screwed on properly. The hotel has recently added a restaurant, which is a nice improvement, but the kitchen and menu still need upgrading; the dishes were simple and not special. Overall, this is constructive criticism, especially regarding the hazardous shower issue. I am returning and appreciate the work done since my last visit, believing the hotel has great potential thanks to its beautiful location, view, and lovely staff.

The room had a sea view directly onto Capri, the service for picking up from the harbor and arranging scooters to the hotel was very pleasant, the terrace with a bistro was great, and the spaghetti Vongolo were excellent.
