The spot was a real gem – a private perch on a hill with a lush terrace, complete with lounge chairs and a parasol. We were right next to the lake, so a dip was just a few steps away. The staff spoke French, which was a nice touch. The only hiccup was that the camp’s restaurant was closed when we arrived; it would've helped to know there was another place just a five‑minute walk away instead of being pointed to the camp’s pizza truck. Other than that, not great.

Loved the lodge and the location was beautiful. The only downside was that we couldn’t check out early, which would have been handy.

The lake was spotless, but you can’t hear anything at all – the silence was a bit too quiet.

The welcome was friendly and the spot was fun. In Bungalow 9, the beds were rock‑hard and the pillows were thin, so we ended up with back aches. Plus, there’s no central ventilation, so the place gets pretty damp inside.
