The grounds looked really nice, but I felt like there was hardly any privacy at all. It was a pleasant setting, just not very secluded.
Nothing to recommend – the place was dirty and never seemed to get cleaned during my stay.

The pool was decent, but the room was a nightmare – the bathroom was shared and strangers kept walking through my space to get to it. The hostel is far from the beach, the room had no light, and I even saw guests who had paid for rooms forced to sleep in tents.

The spot was perfect for checking out the Christ statue, but we got a last‑minute room change and the new room was right next to the laundry, which was noisy and inconvenient.

The room was large and the surroundings were pleasant, yet we arrived to find the premium suite with a private jacuzzi left open and apparently visited by monkeys that tossed mangoes around. Staff shuffled us to another room that was still cluttered, gave contradictory stories about double‑bookings, and never delivered the promised 30‑minute massage or bar credit. On top of that, the jacuzzi was filthy and barely filled even after a full day.
